NFA Form 1  — Build Your Own NFA Item

Thinking of building your own suppressor, SBR, or other NFA item? Our shop is here to walk you through the ATF Form 1 process.

Form 1 is used when an individual intends to manufacture an NFA-regulated item, such as:

  • Short Barrel Rifles (SBRs)

  • Short Barrel Shotguns (SBSs)

  • Suppressors (Silencers)

  • Any Other Weapons (AOW)

How We Help:

Processing Time:

eForm 1 submissions usually take 2-14 days for approval (but can vary).

Requirements:

  • ATF eForms account

  • Fingerprints (we offer fingerprinting in-store)

  • Passport-style photo

  • $200 tax stamp payment to ATF

NFA Form 3 Transfers — Dealer to Dealer

Are you purchasing an NFA item from out of state? The Form 3 process ensures your item is legally transferred from one licensed dealer (FFL/SOT) to another before you file your Form 4.

Form 3 is used to transfer NFA items between FFL/SOT dealers. It’s common when:

  • You order an item from our store and live out-of-state

How We Help:

  • ✅ Manage the Form 3 transfer to other dealers

  • ✅ Coordinate with your preferred FFL/SOT

  • ✅ Notify you when your item arrives and is ready for Form 4 filing with your preferred FFL/SOT

Processing Time:

eForm 3 paperwork takes around 7-10 days to be approved by the ATF, then shipped out once we receive the approval

NFA Form 4  — Own Your NFA Item Legally

Ready to take home your suppressor, SBR, or other NFA item? The Form 4 is the final step in legally acquiring your regulated item.

Form 4 is used when an individual, or trust purchases an NFA item from a dealer. This includes:

  • Suppressors

  • SBRs/SBSs

  • Machine guns

How We Help:

  • ✅ Full walkthrough of Form 4 submission (eForm)

  • ✅ In-store fingerprinting & passport photo services

  • ✅ Secure item storage while you wait for approval

  • ✅ Immediate notification upon approval

Processing Time:

  • eForm 4 : Around 1-3 weeks (Individual), or 3-5 months (Trust)

Requirements:

  • Valid government-issued ID

  • Passport-style photo

  • Fingerprints (we handle this in-store)

  • $205 tax stamp payment per item

  • ATF eForms account
